Golden Dragon is a joint venture co***ny, which was founded in 1992. The construction area is 160 thousand square meters with the total occupation of 350 thousand square meters. For the working team of 1600 people,30% of them are engineers and technicians and 25% of them are skilled mechanics . We have several manufacturing bases with headquarter in Xiamen. Haicang manufacturing base is for large and medium size buses with annual capacity of 5000 complete buses and 8000 chassis. There are three collaborative bases locate at Tongan, Zhangzhou and Jiangdu with annual capacity of 8000 medium-size buses. Our traditional light-van manufacturing base is at Huli industrial zone with annual production capacity of 30 thousand units.
We develop, manufacture and sell large-to-medium-sized luxury buses and light vans with trade mark of ¡®Golden Dragon¡¯. The full-series products cover the models in 5-12 meters long with 5-55 seats. The complete product spectrum tarnishes other producers in China. In the past more than 10 years, the co***ny has seen its great achievement in product development, engineering innovation, quality, market share and brand building. We¡¯ve been successful in the strategic product transition from single light van manufacturing extending to the direction of large and medium size buses manufacturing. In 2004, the product volume reached to near 14 thousand units, of which the volume of large and medium-size buses was over 9000 units. The total product value is 3.1 billion RMB with received-payment amount of 3.08 billion RMB. The volumes on both production and sells consecutively ranked the 2nd in China bus industry in the past two years.
